Definition of Clear from Tech Dictionary -

1. a thetan who can be at cause knowingly and at will over mental matter, energy, space and time as regards the first dynamic (survival for self).

“To start off - let us assume, as we're all here - I will talk from the OT III - NOTs- viewpoint because we don't have to go back and.. and look at, very simple things, but I will assume that you understand, uh, that, first of all we are dealing in the beginning with a composite case. All right? That means it's a, complete mass. BTs, clusters, the guy's stuck in there somewhere, and, he is dramatizing whatever, occurred - maybe on his OWN track - maybe on somebody ELSE's track.”

“So, it is very difficult to get a guy, from, "no auditing", up to, the State of Clear. But, basically we know that is what's done, on the lower levels. All right now. When you do that, you have, got a Clear.”

“And the guy we're auditing is the, the most strongest or the leader you might say or the boss or whatever.

So in essence, since Incident I, he may have had.. more additions to his composite case at any point along the line, uh, because of, mutual incidents, or because of implants, or because of whatever. But these guys have their own tracks, down the line. All right? They have their own tracks, no matter how they came into him. So when you get into the..we get into this, PT (drawing) you have the guy, is somewhere in here as a thetan, with all these other thetans.. around him..(laughs) shaped up into his body form and everything else. What we know as the NOTs, and OT III Case. All right? So this is what we get.

Now, so how does a guy go Clear? OK. He can do it in several ways: One, is, he can run Dianetics, and he gets back, of an engram, which, has got that postulate in it. That he - or he unmade the postulate that he "didn't need pictures". You see?”

“So he as-ised his part of it. So he clears out a little bit here (drawing) - a little space around himself. These guys are still hanging around and they're stuck in the body and still and everything like that. Right? But basically the guy has cleared out a little space around him - and we say: "Ok, this guy's Clear". He doesn't have to compulsively make pictures anymore. And you notice how delicate the Clears are right? If you don't hat them properly on "Nature of a Being", if you don't, if you don't get them up through the non-interference-zone quickly, if you don't, uh, treat them with very, you know handle the grade charge that may still be left, that..that they don't COMPULSIVELY, PULL IN BTs OR OTHER PICTURES FROM OTHER PEOPLE.”

“Get him hatted on "Nature of a Being" so he realizes that if he sees pictures it's not his. It's gonna be handled later. OK? So he doesn't go: "Whatsit? Whatsit? Is it mine? MUST be mine!" Soon as he decides that - snap!”

 

LRH tape lecture 16 April 1952 HCL 21 Anatomy of the theta body -

“Now, riding over the top of this whole line all the way down through the universes to now, evidently, is this first duo. The first double, the basic unit, two. And one of these theta lines is slightly senior to the other. And that, you will find, as the others peel off, is the native, controlling, natural you, and that's what you recognize as you.

You say, "Who am I?" well, it is the senior of the first duo. And the conduct of the senior of the first duo is modified by the junior of those two, and is then modified by the additive lines on and on and on and on, until the senior of those is quite normally asleep - gone. As far as he's concerned, he believes he's dead, or he has strange ideas about himself. His ideas of awareness - he's sort of delegated everything to everything else. He's in apathy, really - Homo sapiens.”

“The central senior soul, the central senior theta line, is itself completely capable of doing the entire job. And the person could be considered a Clear only if he were monitored and governed solely from this unity of one. And your second one might still remain, but it would be a junior position.”
