The Illuminati

The Illuminati is a secretive and heirarchical group based upon ancient "Luciferian" teachings regarding the mind and spirit among other things.

In Latin, Luce means Light. "Lucifer" is a Latin name which means "Bringer of Light" or "Bearer of Light", and thus the origin of Illuminism. In the Christian world however, Lucifer has come to be associated with Satan and "The Devil", the very personification of evil. But it hasn't always been that way.

According to John J. Robinson on pages 47 and 48 of "A Pilgrim's Path: Freemasonry and the Religious Right":

"Lucifer makes his appearance in the fourteenth chapter of the Old Testament book of Isaiah, at the twelfth verse, and nowhere else: "How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! How art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!"

And thus we see the repeating of a much older idea of a "Fallen Angel", cast down from "the heavens".

However in the original Hebrew text, the fourteenth chapter of Isaiah is not about a fallen angel, but rather, about a fallen Babylonian king, who during his lifetime had persecuted the children of Israel. The name "Lucifer" does not appear in most versions of the Bible, only in the King James Version and the Living Bible. Other versions called him Light Bearer, Morning Star, etc.

So how exactly did this alteration and transition take place? With the imposition of Christianity as the official Roman imperial religion, many alterations in ancient texts began taking place.

The foundations of Christianity and The Bible as we know it today were laid by religious bureaucrats of the 4th century AD, when the first Roman Emperor to convert to Christianity, Constantine the Great (274-337 AD), needed a single canon, or "authorized" religion to constitute the Christian faith in hopes of unifying a crumbling empire. Two meetings were convened at Nicaea, in what is today northwest Turkey, to codify the emerging religion. The first in 325AD and second in 787AD. It was during these state-sanctioned councils or synods, that all references to living multiple lifetimes (reincarnation or spiritual beings inhabiting mortal bodies) were removed, and all references to "the gods" were changed to a singular "God".

Apparently some Christians continued to believe in reincarnation even after the Council of Nicaea, because in A.D. 553 the Church found the need to single out reincarnation and condemn it explicitly. At the Second Council of Constantinople the concept of reincarnation, bundled together with other ideas under the term "pre-existence of the soul", was decreed to be a crime worthy of excommunication and damnation ("anathema"):

If anyone assert the fabulous pre-existence of souls, and shall assert the monstrous restoration which follows from it: let him be anathema."

At the end of the fifth century, Pope Galasius published a list of unauthorized books (Apocryphal) to further conform with the official state religion of Christianity.

Throughout this time period, those possessing the ancient knowledge of the mind and spirit began to go underground and hide their knowledge to avoid persecution and even death. The ancient texts were encoded so that only the initiated could understand and read them.

The term Hermeticism refers originally to the god Hermes, also associated with the Roman Mercury. The Roman deities were merely repackaged Greek deities, which were in most cases based upon even earlier Egyptian deities. Such was the case with Hermes, whose Egyptian analog was Thoth, the god of wisdom. It was Thoth who supposedly invented writing, and, being the recorder or scribe of the gods, supposedly wrote all of the ancient texts including the most esoteric ones. Included among these was The Book of Breathings, which allegedly taught humans how to become gods.

In the second and third century A.D., the image of the Egyptian Thoth and the Greek Hermes were joined or merged to form a new archetypal figure, Hermes Trismegistus, who had features of both. In many of the Hermetic writings, Hermes appears less like an Egyptian or Greek god and more like a mysterious prophet, in particular the Apocalypse of Baruch, 4 Esdras, and 2 Enoch.

This is very similar to the claims made about the Bible, that the actual authors do not matter because they were all supposedly "devinely inspired", and therefore we must "believe" or "have faith" that the texts are accurate and unaltered.

Hermeticism and Gnosticism were both attempts at retaining the earlier esoteric spiritual teachings which were being eliminated by the state church. Gnosis is a Greek word meaning "knowing".

Slowly, as most of those who could decipher the encoded texts began to die out, the ancient knowledge began to disappear, and was replaced by the offical State Religion of the masses - Christianity, and thus began the Dark Ages throughout Europe in which wisdom was lost. Those still possessing some of the ancient knowledge and seeking to apply it (alchemists) were labeled "witches" and "devils" by the church/state and hunted down and killed most horribly.

It wasn't until hundreds of years later that spiritual and scientific teachings from the Arab and Oriental world began, despite the efforts of the church, to seep back into Europe and the Renaisance began.

Traditional Jews (and many others) do not believe in the later Roman Christian creation "The Devil", who interestingly enough actually looks identical to the old Pagan god Pan, god of flocks and shepherds, complete with horns, cloven hooves and a tail.

In ancient Hebrew scriptures, Lucifer was identified as the cause of a rebellion in "the heavens", and is symbolically described as "The Dragon", "The Serpent", and the "Son of the Morning". However, according to the belief system of that era, the Dragon and Serpent were universally recognized as symbols of knowledge and wisdom - thus the cobra on the headdress of the pharohs.

In her book "Isis Unveiled", H. P. Blavatsky says the following concerning serpent worship of antiquity. "From the remotest antiquity the serpent was held by every people in the greatest veneration, as the embodiment of Divine wisdom and the symbol of spirit...". Even Jesus himself had to acknowledge this when he said "Behold, I send you out as sheep in the midst of wolves. Therefore be wise as serpents and harmless as doves." Even today, we still see a remenant of the serpent representing wisdom on the staff of Caduceus, the symbol of the medical profession.

In Chinese culture, the dragon has always been, and is still regarded as a symbol of happiness and immortality, and they are believed to ward off evil spirits:

It was the later Roman Christians who identified the serpent and the dragon as symbols of evil and treachery, the complete opposite of what they had previously represented. Many a story were written and told centering on the theme of a righteous Christian knight going out to slay the evil dragon. In other words, a concerted Black Propaganda campaign which continues to this day, which has resulted in a complete reversal of how the serpent and dragon are now viewed by many.

According to F.T. DeAngelis, the author of "The Polytheism Of The Bible And The Mystery Of Lucifer":

"The actual name, "Lucifer," goes back to the Greeks, before the Romans. Socrates and Plato talk about this "god of light"; surprisingly, not in the context of Eos (god of Dawn), but -- as a morning star -- juxtaposed with the sun (Helios) and Hermes (Mercury). This information can be found in Plato's Timaeus (38e) and in Edith Hamilton's Mythology."

Apollo was also the ancient Greek and Roman god of light, healing, music, poetry, prophecy, and manly beauty, very reminiscent of some of the attributes of Lucifer, whereas Venus (as the evening star) was associated with the Greek goddess Aphrodite, the Babalonian Ishtar, and the Sumerian Inanna.

At this point in time, 4500 years later, we find a rather large, confused and conglomerated mess with people still blindly worshiping ancient deities based upon misunderstandings of altered texts and corrupted ideals.

Illuminist and 33rd degree Freemason Albert Pike wrote on page 321 of his classic book "Morals and Dogma" which is required reading for masons when they reach a certain level:

"LUCIFER, the Light-bearer! Strange and mysterious name to give to the spirit of Darkness! Lucifer, the Son of the morning! Is It he who bears the Light. ... ? Doubt it not!"

As we have seen within the last 50 years with Scientology, and within the last 20 years outside of the church (the "freezone"), anything which contains true spiritual data is considered by some to be a threat, and is summarily infiltrated and corrupted to prevent the true spiritual data from being widely disseminated.

Just like the modern day Church of Scientology, what started out as a source of truth and enlightenment for all peoples was infiltrated and corrupted into something entirely different. So while it bears many of the trappings of the original, it has been carefully diverted from it's original vector of enlightenment into being a source of suppression of knowledge.

Illuminism and many other occult groups are no longer the haven of true spiritual teachings they were thousands of years ago, nor the hope of man they were originally intended to be. It is a sad fact that every religion on this planet has, at one time or another, been infiltrated and corrupted to prevent spiritual progression by those on a higher VAB board. Hermeticism and Illuminism are no exception to that rule.

In my last post, we traced back the origins of the name "Lucifer" and thus Illuminism and the Illuminati, back through Rome and Greece, and looked a little at some of the Egyptian deities. But the origin of all of the various western religions (including Illuminism) goes back even further in time, and further to the east as well.


The "history" of western civilization as we know it, has taken quite a few twists and turns over the years, and the version of events we have today, has been altered significantly from the original version, obscuring what really happened all those thousands of years ago.

Today we find a number of religions based upon altered versions of people and events which often bear limited or no resemblence to the original. Unfortunately, a great many people today choose to believe the version of events put out by authority figures and official publications.

A simple illustration of this is the Christian habit of saying "Amen" at the end of a prayer. Most people have no idea what that word means or where it came from, and yet they continue to use it nonetheless. The word itself comes from Amen, one of the ancient gods of Egypt whose name means "The Hidden One":

The Sumerians (ancient people living in the land of Sumer or Shumar in Mesopotamia) had a record of a great flood and a human survivor (the Epic of Gilgamesh) who built a covered boat as directed by the god Enki. According to ancient records, the "gods" either knew of the impending catastrophe or perhaps helped cause it, waited in the heavens until after it was over, and then, after the waters had subsided and the land dried out, they returned to Earth and began rebuilding.

Mesopotamia - circa 5500 B.C.
Often called the "cradle of civilization", the name comes from the Greeks and it means "between the rivers":

This is also the region referred to in the Bible as the location of the original "Garden of Eden", near the Tigris and Euphrates rivers. According to ancient sources, this is where man was created by the "gods" to perform menial labor for them:
"Let us make man in our image, after our likeness" Genesis 1:26.
"The Lord God took the man and put him in the garden of Eden to till it and keep it." Genesis 2:15

But when the workers began grasping at knowledge, in particular a knowledge and understanding of ethics, they became a threat to the "gods", and were expelled from "paradise":

Interestingly, this is also the region where the "final battle" seems to be brewing at the moment - Iraq. Bombing in the area will likely destroy (besides a great many human lives) ancient archaeological sites.

Egypt - circa 3500 B.C. - 1000 B.C. (Archaic Period to the New Kingdom)
This is the time period of consolidation of the Egyptian state, run by the Egyptian elite (humans). The mythology of the ancient gods (Pre-Dynastic) was already in existence at this time.

Greece - circa 2500 B.C. - 200 B.C.
In Greek mythology, the original gods called the Titans were overthrown by the 12 Olympians, said to reside on Mount Olympus, the highest mountain peak in Greece. But Olympus is also referred to as existing above the clouds and Earth, in a remote heavenly place.

According to the Greek Historian Herodotus:
"The names of nearly all the Gods came to Greece from Egypt. I know from the inquiries I have made that they have come from abroad, and it seems most likely that it was from Egypt, for the names of all the Gods have been known in Egypt from the beginning of time."

Rome - 750 B.C. - 306 A.D. Pre-Christian Era
As the power base of the ancient world shifted from Athens to Rome, the Greek gods were renamed with Roman (Latin) names, and persecution of Christians and worship of the Roman gods continued until the time of Constantine.

Rome - 306 A.D. - Christian Era.
The old gods were eventually consolidated into a single god, and ancient writings were modified to accomodate this. All references in the books of the Old Testament were changed from "the gods" to a singular "God" which was actually an amalgam of a number of the old gods. Any writings which contradicted the new official version of history were either changed or outlawed:

Meanwhile, tribute to the old gods was still maintained in various subtle ways such as the days of the week: Saturday (Saturn's Day), Sunday (the Sun), Monday (the moon), and the names for remaining days were all taken from the Norse names for the old gods - Tiw's day, Wodan's day, Thor's day and Frig's day.

Another example is Christmas (December 25th) which was not really the birthday of Jesus, but rather, traces back once again to old gods. Winter solstice, the shortest day of the year is December 21st, and is also the point at which the days begin getting longer again - a "birth of the Sun" every year.

It helped convert pagans to Christianity, since the new god was a version of their old god (Mithris, Saturn, Mordoc, Horus, Sol, Apollo, Osiris, etc .)"

Europe - 476 A.D. - 1000 A.D. The Dark Ages
The Dark Ages were brought about by several factors, one of the primary ones was the heavy suppression of knowledge and repressive control by the all-powerful Catholic Church. This was the period when much ancient knowledge and wisdom was buried and lost, and western civilization declined dramatically into a barbarism compared with the earlier Greek culture, and even previous levels of the semi-barbaric Roman Empire. Also during this time period, millions of people died from "plagues", very reminiscent of the effects of widespread biological warfare to reduce the population.

Europe - 1096 A.D. - 1312 A.D. The Crusades and Knights Templar
This is the time period when the Crusades from Europe into the "Holy Lands" (the Near East) occurred, as well as the formation and overt existence of the Knights Templar. After completing their excavations under the Temple of Solomon in Jerusalem in 1118, some of the knights returned to Europe and began spreading out throughout many countries in Europe, along with their secret knowledge. This was cut short when the Catholic Church under control of Pope Clement V outlawed the Knights Templar in 1307, and put many of them to death in 1312, forcing the remaining knights to go underground. The scientific and spiritual knowledge they possessed was definitely a threat to the Church and State.

Europe - 1300 A.D. - 1600 A.D. The Renaissance
The Renaissance or 'revival' period occurred when ancient scientific and spiritual knowledge which had previously been suppressed, began, despite the best efforts of the Catholic Church, slowly seeping back into Europe, causing a resurgence of life, and following from that, renewed scientific investigation and discovery.

Austria -1700s. The birth of Psychology and Pschiatry which began the final assault and ultimate death of true knowledge of the mind and spirit in popular western cultures, describing man as nothing more than an animal, a combination of chemicals and electrical impulses with no spiritual component or aspect.

Europe and America - 1776 A.D. The same year that the new American government was founded by wealthy Freemasons and Illuminsts, the Bavarian Illuminati was founded by Adam Wieshaupt (at the behest of Mayer Amschel Rothschild) to infiltrate and ultimately gain control of all occult and illuministic groups. Shortly after the American Revolution was the French Revolution, also organized and conducted by Freemasons and Illuminists.

We can see in the above, that the strings still quite visible today, all seem to lead back to ancient Mesopotamia and the "gods" of old.

Two of the very early gods from Egyptian mythology were Geb and Nuit, brother and sister as well as husband and wife. Geb is considered to be Father Earth, and Nuit is considered to be Mother Sky. They produced two pairs of offspring - Osiris and Isis, and Set and Nephthys. Again, according to Egyptian mythology, both of these pairs of brother and sister were also husband and wife.

Egypt's first divine ruler - Ra (the sun god) eventually divided the kingdom between the two gods (brothers) Osiris and Set (Enlil and EN.KI, or Prince Ea, in ancient Sumerian texts), apparently giving Set control over upper Egypt (headwaters of the Nile in southern Egypt), and Osiris was given lower Egypt (the northern or prime section including modern Cairo, Alexandria, and the Nile delta.)

According to the Egyptian version of the story we now have, Set was unhappy with this arrangement, and continually plotted the overthrow and death of his brother so as to claim the entire kingdom for himself. Eventually, according to this version of the story, Set was successful in killing Osiris and dismembering his body. Isis, with the help of Thoth (Hermes), reassembled Osiris' body and he was revived - resurected, and thus he became the god of rebirth - the later archetype for the resurected god, or the Christ figure.

Set (sometimes called Seth), then took over for a time, as ruler of all of Egypt. Set, in Egyptian mythology then became the archetype of death and the hunt and "Set" eventually became "Satan" in later Christian doctrine, and we now find the Temple of Set organized as a "satanic" religion based upon ancient mythologies.

Set (later called Satan), however, was the Egyptian name for the Mesopotamian Prince Ea - EN.KI or "Prince of Earth".

Above (in the Christian version) we see the symbol of the snake or serpent being associated with knowledge and wisdom, as well as evil.

After Horus grew to manhood, he challenged Set over the throne of Egypt, and a battle ensued. On May 25, 2001 I was in Vision, Ecstasy, and the Embrace of My Lord Belarion. We were approached by the Traitor, who wanted to look upon Me and Know. He asked us for our forgiveness and we gave it freely, for in the joy of our love we felt only compassion and pity for anything or anyone less than Ourselves. We told the Traitor if he were indeed sincere, he must needs attend to the heinous, crippling, moneymongering, enslaving structure that now runs headless without him to put gold in the pockets of the insipid ... and so if he was sincere in his request, Scientology is doomed. Now what I find really interesting is the mentioning of someone who is being called "the Traitor", a "redhaired fool who betrayed his Mentor", and Scientology is specifically mentioned.

Even more interesting is that, according to the poster, they were "approached" by "the Traitor" on 25 May 2001, just last year. Despite the fact that the poster claims that "He asked us for our forgiveness" and they (Babalon and Belarion) "felt only compassion and pity for anything or anyone less than" themselves, they still seem to have a bit of BPC on "El Ron".

Which then begs the question - "Who are they trying to convince?"

"Nieson Himmel was a young journalist with a keen interest in science fiction. That was how he had met the chemist Jack Parsons after the Second World War, and it was through Parsons that he met L. Ron Hubbard. He actually shared a room with Hubbard in Parsons' rambling mansion in Pasadena, where Hubbard and Parsons practiced bizarre sex magick and vied for the love of Sara Northrup (who later eloped with Hubbard and became his second wife). It was an exotic environment, to say the least. He remembered it vividly in the following interview, carried out by Russell Miller in the course of research for the unauthorised biography of L. Ron Hubbard, Bare-Faced Messiah."
